This year we celebrate our 93rd year!

We have been established since 1918, when 'The Any Size Sofa Company'' – then known simply as 'C Harris', began to make cabinet and upholstered furniture.  Then, as today, our philosophy remains a simple one – our customers needs come first. 

The company was started by Charles Harris, my Great Grandfather in 1918 and incorporated in 1939.  Over the years the name ‘Harris’ has become synonymous with quality and service, our excellent reputation has been built up over the years as the business has passed through four generations.

At our showroom we will offer you a friendly welcome and a personal service to help you choose the right furniture to meet your needs.  The new workshops, which can be viewed from our showroom, offer you, the customer a unique opportunity to see furniture at every stage of the production process, from the initial frame production, through the hand-cutting of fabrics and hide, to adding the finishing touches to each piece of furniture. You can also see our team experienced upholsterers working on a variety of other projects, including traditional re-upholstery, renovation and refurbishment of existing pieces of furniture. We are always happy to show you around our workshops and explain to you every aspect of the production process.

Now in the new millennium, we aim to hold true to the same values of service, craftsmanship and quality, whilst ensuring that you will be ‘sitting comfortably’ for many years to come.
